Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Every day after school and all summer long, 35 Clubs in 5 counties provide a safe and caring experience for over 12,000 children between the ages of 6 and 18 at no or little cost to the families. In 2021, Jacqueline Bradley and Clarence Otis generously gifted the organization $4 million to open a state-of-the-art Club—the Jacqueline Bradley & Clarence Otis Family Branch in Orlando's West Lakes Community. The Club takes a holistic approach to serving children—nurturing mind, body and spirit. Programming includes academic support, college and workforce readiness, art and dance instruction, athletics and leadership development. Boys & Girls Clubs work with children, with an outcome of productive adults for their families and communities.
